Integrating Ralph Kimball’s Data Warehouse Design Principles with Object-Orientation proved to be an elegant and highly efficient technical solution that allowed the initial production implementation to be deployed for under $2 million. Most data warehouses of this complexity, scope, and accuracy would be a bargain for $10 million.
